Fillers has been used to treat millions of patients worldwide and is the worlds most popular non-surgical treatment.

The benefits

The treatment known as Fillers has been approved for cosmetic use and is ideal for easing over-active muscle movement that can cause deep frown lines and crows feet. It can also be used to reduce excess perspiration.

Filler injections are commonly used to treat areas in the upper part of the face.

Our medical staff have enhanced their skills in Fillers by training in advanced techniques. These techniques enable concerns such as bunny lines on the nose, gummy smile, jaws, lip lines and eyebrows to be treated.

Excessive perspiration may also be treated successfully with Fillers.

Fillers are beneficial when used in areas where muscle contraction causes lines to appear. These are termed dynamic lines. Fillers cannot improve lines caused by ageing or sun damage as they are unrelated to facial muscle contractions. The treatment is safe with minimal discomfort.

The treatment

Following a thorough consultation with the practitioner, the areas you would like to be treated are identified and your skin is cleansed before small injections are given to the required areas. You will not need any topical anaesthetic before the treatment as a very fine needle is used.

Results are typically visible from 2-14 days and can last 3-6 months.

Following treatment, it is advised not to massage or touch the area treated for several hours. Do not bend down for 4 hours as these actions may contribute to adverse effects.

You may create active facial expressions for the first hour after treatment as this may help with the uptake of the product. Should you wish we at Crawley Aesthetic Clinic are happy to advise you further on the above treatment.
