Botox Treatments

Botox is a popular, safe and effective cosmetic procedure used to temporarily relax muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Botox works by blocking nerve signals in the treated muscles, which causes them to relax. This relaxation helps to smooth out wrinkles and lines on the skin's surface.

Crow's feet

Botox FAQ

What is Botox?

Botox, short for Botulinum toxin, is a purified protein derived from a bacteria that is used in cosmetic procedures to temporarily relax muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

How much does Botox cost?

Our Botox treatments start at £190 for one area.

1 area: £190
2 areas: £225
3 areas: £260

If you would like Botox on more than 3 areas, each additional area costs £70.

How does Botox work?

Botox works by blocking nerve signals in the treated muscles, which causes them to relax. This relaxation helps to smooth out wrinkles and lines on the skin's surface.

What areas can be treated with Botox?

Common treatment areas include forehead lines, crow's feet, frown lines between the eyebrows, bunny lines, lip lines, chin dimpling and neck bands. It can also be used for medical purposes, such as treating excessive sweating and chronic migraines.

How long do the results last?

The effects of Botox typically last around 3 to 6 months. Over time, the treated muscles gradually regain their activity and further Botox treatments may be needed.

Is the procedure painful?

Botox injections are generally well-tolerated and relatively painless. Some individuals may experience minor discomfort or a brief stinging sensation at the injection site.

We can administer a topical anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort. Most patients report little or no pain during treatment.

Is there any downtime after the procedure?

There is minimal downtime associated with Botox injections. You can typically resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment. However, it's advisable to avoid intense exercise and lying down for a few hours after the procedure.

Are there any side effects?

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. These effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own.

Are Botox results immediate?

No, Botox results are not immediate. It usually takes a few days to start seeing the effects, with full results becoming noticeable within 1 to 2 weeks after the treatment.

Is there anyone who should not get Botox?

Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, as well as those with certain neuromuscular disorders, should avoid Botox injections. It's essential to discuss your medical history with your provider before undergoing the treatment.
